Adopt-a-Child for Christmas
Bringing the holiday spirit to the children housed in Gwangju's orphanages by purchasing gifts from their wish lists.

MDream Orphanage
Mdream is a Korean orphanage home that houses 80 boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds. They provide education, opportunity and a chance for the children that may not have had one. Currently, Mdream has several programs that encourage the children to learn English, as well as an engaging Character Development Program for elementary students that allows the kids to explore issues such as anger, dreaming about the future, being lonely and choosing friends wisely. Proceeds will fund materials such as books and activities for these programs.
Sungbin Orphanage
The Sungbin Girls' Orphanage is probably the most well-known shelter in Gwangju. It focuses primarily on providing girls between the ages of 4 and 20 with the security of a steady home.
Ilmac Orphanage
Ilmac orphanage houses roughly 40 children between the ages of 5 and 20. Proceeds go back into the care of the children.

Gwangju LINK (Liberty in North Korea) Rescue Team
Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) brings North Korean refugees to freedom and safety via a 3,000 underground railroad, as well as provide resettlement support to help them fulfill their potential.100% of proceeds donated to Gwangju LiNK will directly fund rescue missions including transportation, basic needs, shelter and other associated costs for one refugee.
The Michael Simning Ndwara Scholarship Fund
In honor of Michael Simning, a legend and activist in the Gwangju commmunity, family and friends have set up a scholarship fund to recognize his volunteerism. For every $2,000 raised, one local Ndwara girl in Kenya can attend the two years of vocational school necessary to graduate and pursue successful careers such as beautician, tailor, secretary, bookkeeper, soap makers, cookery or social work assistants.

The Kilimanjaro View Education Centre is a non-profit school in Tanzania. Believing that education is the key to freeing people from poverty, its mission is to help with community development through education. In addition to academic studies, children learn vocational trades such as woodworking. Proceeds will furnish classrooms, pay staff salary, feed students and expand to educate more children.
